  • Pick and choose what you get riled up about. If you’re passionate about everything, you’re passionate about nothing.
  • Don’t speak for the sake of speaking. Putting in unnecessary two-cents just to relate with someone is vain and false. Listen.
  • Be fully (mentally) invested in conversation. Zoning out and walking off, no matter how accidental, is incredibly rude and sometimes fatigue just doesn’t excuse it.
  • Smiling at people can only bring good.
